Do my customers need to install anything to send a file?

No. They scan your counter QR code with their phone camera, a page opens in their normal mobile browser, and they upload from there. No app, no account, no sign-up. That matters in Chennai specifically because a lot of your walk-in traffic uses a borrowed phone or a shared device.

What file types can a customer send?

PDF, JPG, JPEG and PNG. Each file can be up to 300 MB, and a single job is capped at 50 MB in total. Word documents need to be exported to PDF by the customer first, because a .docx can look completely different once it reaches your printer.

Can I set my own price per page?

Yes, and you should. QRPress does not decide your rates — you set a per-page price and a colour rate in your shop settings, and customers are quoted from your numbers. Different shops in different streets charge different rates for good reason.

How do I print a job once it arrives?

You get the job in your queue and print it. Most shops work the queue from the web dashboard; shops that print all day usually install the Windows desktop agent so jobs go straight to their USB or network printer, and some run the counter from the QRPress Android app instead.

Is it safe to handle exam and marksheet PDFs this way?

Files are uploaded over an encrypted connection and permanently deleted within 24 hours of upload. A cleanup job runs hourly on the server. You are not keeping a growing archive of students’ marksheets on a counter PC that the public can reach.
